What it is: A chypre perfume that paints springtime in broad, impressionist strokes, inspired by mimosa trees bursting into bloom in the Flinders Ranges of Australia.

Fragrance story: Velvet Splendour is like pressing your face into a bouquet of sunburned wildflowers, carried on the breeze of the Australian countryside. It opens with radiant mandarin and effervescent aldehydes, leading into the luminous florals of Australian mimosa absolute, orange blossom absolute and jasmine sambac. A grounding base of Australian sandalwood, patchouli and creamy tonka bean adds warmth and sensuality.
