A safety razor on a steamed ash handle — the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature for water resistance, which also deepens its colour and brings out the grain, then oil-treated for longevity. The eye-catching conical form is cut by distinctive chrome-plated lines at top and base. A genuine investment piece that ends the need for disposable plastic cartridges; blades swap by unscrewing the head and cost very little per shave.
